Hello Friend,

You’ve received this note and invitation because you made the cut. It has been a long time coming, but we’ve organized our first outdoor tournament and we're inviting our nearest and dearest before opening up the tee sheet. We’ve reserved Overland Park Golf Course in Denver for a shotgun start at 8:00am on Friday, September 25, 2026. The field will consist of 72-108 players, competing in a 2-player scramble tournament. No mulligans or “string” to purchase. Non-Members Only and no frills—just thrills, chills, and crisp golf shots. You’ll score your opponents, and they'll score you. Winner take all. In the event of a tie, an alternate shot playoff will be held on the simulators at SBCC Broadway. The names of our great Champions will be inscribed on The Golden Lawn Chair; their photo will hang above the bar at SBCC Broadway and they will be entitled to a Champions Discount at all SBCC locations for a calendar year; and they will receive distinguished custom-tailored 2026 Champions apparel. The last place team will receive complementary lessons from Co-Chairman Kelly Huff.

Upon completing your round, we’ve arranged free shuttle bus transportation from Overland to SBCC Broadway where a banquet and afterparty will unfold. No need to drive your vehicle, especially if you decide to imbibe. Rugby Scott will be at SBCC serving wagyu burgers for purchase, drinks will be flowing, and rest assured that we’ll have some other tricks up our sleeves. It’s a Friday, after all, so let’s settle in and whet our beaks. We’ll be going late into the evening, and the afterparty is open to the public, so call your pals.    

The SBCC Golf Classic is an invitational, but your invite entitles you pick your own partner! As such, please partner up with whoever you wish, no matter whether he or she received a formal invite from us.

Cost of entry is $200 per player/$400 per team until Friday, August 21st, after which we will expand the invite list and cost of entry will increase. Entry fee includes: a merchandise bag for each player, complete with a custom tournament hat, t-shirt, and koozie, etc.; range balls, cart, and greens fee; automatic entry into a raffle of extremely choice items; your first drink on us at the afterparty; and rocking good times directly correlated to increasing your chances of receiving Total Consciousness, so if you partake, you could have that going for you, too, which is nice...

Just trust us, you want to be involved. If you currently have plans for Friday, September 25th, we kindly suggest altering them so you can join us. If you do not have plans, you do now.
